  Excellent doesn't even cover my thoughts on this hotel, truly amazing in several ways.... I checked in after a long flight from the Middle East, pretty exhausted and ready for my bed.   Great hotel was in a great location for where we wanted to be. Good trAnsport links either bus or overground. Hotel has a pub underneath that is huge and full of character. Had to admit then I was worried it would be rough before we walked in, but the staff were lovely, very friendly and even met some of the locals who were great.   The room quality was very high, everything was clean and well maintained. The facilities of the room were very respected on our trip, the tv was excellent, the air con was very helpful and needed, the kettle was used endlessly.   It's a cross between a hotel and and apartment which allows you to be very flexible with regard to cooking your own meals, getting a takeaway (which can be delivered according to the literature in my room) or going out to one of the many eateries at the Westfield Centre which is where the hotel is located. Parking is good value for money at £5.00 per - My young kids and I stayed at staybridge suites in April and it was an amazing experience. Its right in the mall so shopping was within very easy access and we didn't have to take our jackets out for shopping when it got cold.   Upon arrival, it was clear to see the hotel was clean and fairly luxurious (Especially for a 'Holiday Inn'!). The staff were friendly and helpful, with the room cleaned regularly, with free water and chocolate each day (at least I think they were free!). Especially at night; looking over the Olympic park, docklands and the o2. - Large rooms, excellent beds, coffee and tea facilities in room and good bathroom. Ideal location for both shopping as well as a quick underground trip (20 minutes by central line) to the centre of London and its attractions. ALso very convenient to get to City Airport and Southend Airport.
