Each room features an en suite bathroom with free luxury toiletries, free Wi-Fi, a TV, and a hospitality tray which includes herbal and regular tea, coffee, hot chocolate and homemade cookies. The rooms have garden views and some also overlook the picturesque Ochil Hills. The rooms also boast original features such as Georgian fireplaces.
Guests can enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast made of locally sourced produce, and it is served in the grand dining room. Special dietary requirements can be catered for upon request.

The big villa we found in the middle of a huge garden was astonishing, beautiful and elegant. The en-suite room was very good and confortable, too. But the real "extra" was the family who welcomed us, such a warm welcoming! Colin was a perfect host, nice, gentle and available, as his wife and daughter were. It was very nice and interesting to speak with all of them. Not to mention their breakfast in the wonderful dining room the next morning...delicious. I stayed here while attending a training event at Stirling Management Centre as it was close (2.5 miles) and convenient. I received a warm and friendly welcome. The room was lovely, clean and stylish with plenty of traditional features. The room was cosy, spacious and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with fresh coffee and plenty of choice for a vegetarian. We ate breakfast in a warm and sunny lounge that had the log fire burning. I would recommend staying here if you .
I have stopped in Powis House for one night on my way from Edinbourgh to Highland. First of all I was charmed by this beautiful house. The bed was with fluffy feather bed.There was real victorian bathroom. So you can fill yourself at that era but with all facilities. The hospitality of the hosts is above expectations. They helped me so much to plan my route to Highland and advised me a lot of interesting places outside of standard touristic road. On the way back I stopped there as well.
Very warm welcome with a pot of tea. Owners were very helpful in giving us information about restaurants and phoned and made the booking for us. Easy conversation both on arrival and at breakfast. Lovely room - spacious with beautiful views. Lots of original features still in use which made the house interesting. Room was well equipped. House in a peaceful location yet not far out of Stirling.
The hosts, Jane and Colin, were very warm and friendly and very helpful.
The estate is beautiful and so are the surrounding grounds. Once there,
you forget that the city is just a couple of minutes away.The room was
very clean and comfortable. In all of our holiday, this B&B served
the best breakfast. I highly recommend Powis House B&B!.
Powis House is a unique property. It is a very interestingly decorated
in a traditional country style. Colin and Jane are very accommodating in
every way. Bedroom very comfortable. Tea in china cups the order of the
day - Offered in the comfortable lounge.
A truly beautiful house in an idyllic location. Jane & Colin were the perfect hosts, very helpful & friendly, lovely breakfast. Very much want to come back here with my partner & have a romantic weekend away.
Outstanding Hosts, Splendid old secluded mansion house in large grounds. Breakfast was brilliant. Will definetly consider staying again. Very convenient for access to University & Stirling City centre.

Lovely touch being served tea and biscuits on arrival and having access to fresh milk in the wee fridge on the landing.
The owners are friendly, considerate,helpful and serve a great breakfast. Surroundings inside and out are like a chateau. Would suit people with or without children.

The sign at the entrance and the one up the drive could be bigger and clearer as it was very dark and rainy when I arrived and I missed the sign on the main road. I managed to go the wrong way and ended up on the neighbours driveway.
