  The location and especially the lawn/gardens at the rear - a real delight in the spring/summer. A real treat for our bedroom (112) to look out on the gardens. The seat on the window(sill) was a particular plus. Breakfast was good - liked the idea of cooked breakfast to order - dining area so light and welcoming. Breakfast was really good with a lot of selection of choices and meals in evening and were very reasonable in price as were bar drinks in prices as well. Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable and quiet.

  Frendly efficient staff and everything is very clean. It's not the least stuffy and you feel at ease there. An encouraging price structure sympathetic to what for many people are hard pressed times. An alternative for me would have been to have made two 200mile car journeys in one day rather than one - We had a lovely friendly welcome from the... vad folk säger » lady on reception who gave us all the information needed about the hotel and the facilities provided. The lady in charge at breakfast was very friendly and welcoming and the young cook, in his first week at the hotel, cooked our breakfast to perfection.
