  The staff were very friendly, room was a nice size, very clean with everything you would need in a room. hotel itself was very interesting and worth exploring. - Staff at front office and house keeping were extremely polite, friendly and nice.

  The Reception Staff were very welcoming, and the services in the hotel were just as you would expect for a 4 star hotel. It was lovely sunny day when we arrived, and the main house, gardens and lake were stunning. We had a 'superior room' which had windows overlooking the garden, it was large and airy, complete with fridge, TV, large bathroom. The service was excellent. I had read mixed reviews prior to visiting and was a little anxious as some were rather harsh about the decor and restaurant service. We were very pleasantly surprised.
