The Inn at Grinshill is a real gem. I was looking for somewhere near Shrewsbury as my wife and I wanted to visit the town. I saw the reviews for the Inn and booked on the strength of these. We were not disappointed. The standard of accommodation is exceptional, the massive beds extremely comfortable and the rooms beautifully furnished. The breakfast was excellent and dining at the Inn a gourmet experience (if you have dinner there try the mussels cooked in ale starter, its absolutely delicious).

Generally pretty good value. we got the room for £70 last minute. 2 course meal was £20 but worth it. Big garden. Kitchen was brand new and in view to diners. in all a high quality place to go for a nights DB&B in a pretty village 20 min from Shrewsbury. The attractive hotel with our wonderfully, luxurious room was a real find. Friendly, helpful staff. Fresh milk offered in the room on request. Sadly, we did not enjoy an evening meal in the restaurant, due to attending an event elsewhere. At the latter, we were left in no doubt that the restaurant enjoys an excellent local reputation and the food is considered sublime. Management exceeded our expectations with many issues and with a truly helpful disposition which contributed greatly to the experience of our stay. An innovative kitchen in which the management's son works deserves special mention - test for yourself. Location of Hotel. Comfortable well appointed room. General ambiance and relaxed atmosphere. Good food.Slightly quirky but friendly managment added character. We loved the food - it was absolutely fantastic, the ale ( Shropshire Gold), the warm welcome and lovely room. Couldn't fault it - thank you very much. Friendly owners and staff, very helpful. Food was excellent and a very well stocked bar with beer on tap. This is a very comfortable place to stay. The general overall package! On site parking! Countryside, yet, in easy reach of Shrewsbury! Oh yes ... The fantastic Shower!. Charming place with lovely staff who couldn't have made us more welcome. I look forward to staying here again when I am next in the area. Struggling to think of anything. Kev was a great host. Nothing. Nothing at all. Nothing. Doors leading into en suite, they were a bit clunky and noisy when opening at night. Would have liked small sealed potions of milk in room to accompany the tea or coffee!. I had no wifi in my room- signal too weak- don't let it deter you from staying though. Nothing. Dark street outside if you fancy an evening stroll. The room was above the kitchen - the kitchen exhaust fan was loud until 10.30pm and started again at 8.00am. No Wi fi.
