  We booked this online for a midweek short break and as a fusy person I am particular where I stay but this place was a little gem and we thoroughly enjoyed the place and owners. They were polite , friendly and knowledgable about anything you needed to know about traveling in the area and lake district.The breakfast was tasty and very enjoyable. wo... vad folk säger » uld recommend and will definately return in the future.The rooms were immaculate,clean and comfortable. A little haven in the countryside. - we spent three gloriousl nights , we had the best room in the house patio doors looking over green fields and water . Breakfast excellent ,cant fault it .The only advice i can offer guests is: when paul tells you about a twenty minute walk make sure you get the right directions otherwise it could take an hour and a half.Eddie

  Very friendly, welcoming Hotel. Superb mixture of old and new buildings blending together very well. An excellent situation for visiting The Lakes and Yorkshire Dales area. Also excellent food! - We only spent one night at the hotel but we were so impressed we would certainly visit again and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
