Location was very good with parking. Food in restaurant excellent and breakfast good. Rooms clean and comfortable, nothing fancy. A good base for a few days to enjoy the delights of the Farne Islands and the wonderful puffins. We liked the friendly and helpful staff and the easy going atmosphere. We enjoyed every meal we had also the meal deal price. Overall a very good few days.

Staff very helpful made very welcome. This was our 6th visit and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this wonderful part of England. Location was ideal right in the centre of Seahouses. The breakfast was lovely and the staff in the morning were very helpful and nice. The situation was within 5 minutes of the harbour at Seahouses. The food was excellent, and the staff hardworking and helpful. Modern rooms, nicely done, compact with all you need. Very clean bathroom. Good breakfast, speedy service. Well done. the room was very clean the breakfast was the best i have had when i have stayed in a hotel. Clean, friendly, excellent breakfast, very handy for facilities. Good value for money. The location was good, easy to find and well placed for local attractions. Breakfast was good, and efficiently served. Breakfast. Looked a bit dated from the outside and some of the public areas but don't let that put you off. I was a bit wary of the outside steps leading to the annex don't mind steps but this type with metal spaces I had to watch I didn't get my sandals fast in them. N/A. Nothing. There was a noisy boiler in the room which kept us awake and it kept my husband awake all night! When we complained to be fair they offered us a full refund but we thought it was only fair to take a half refund as I hadnt been kept awake all night. The bathroom facilities in our room (twin room 5) were adequate but due to being slightly cramped, there was a difficulty in closing the bathroom door from the inside. Nothing major it was very cold outside, could do with UPVC windows in the annex. nothing. No faults that we could find. No negatives. Difficulties to operate the shower. Having to use a fire escape to get to the room - most unusual. We were told annex, but didn't expect to be above a closed pub. the bathroom was a little cramped. wish price was cheaper. Bathroom was very cramped. Noise at night Limited car spaces. shower was a bit temperamental and bathroom quite small. One of our rooms was in an annexe with challenging stairs. rooms could do with some sound insulation. Hot water to hand basin none. Other guests partying in their room till 1.30 in the morning very loudly [ I had to have a word with them in the end as I had to leave at 6am not pleased]. small room in annexe, but coped. the room was over the kitchen so you got the extractor fans one running all night and a noisier one at 7am. Small bedrooms. Our room was above bar, and very noisy until 1.30am Old fashioned. Breakfast was OK but crockery etc tended to be a bit grubby. Room was not serviced well during stay, in particular bed was not made up properly. The room was incredibly small, barely enough room to move around and not even a wardrobe, just a space where a chair was placed. But what was most annoying was the lack of any soap in the bathroom - shower sachets but nothing for the wash hand basin !. The noise at 1.30 in the morning due to pub, it was too load to sleep. Decoration very tired.
