  The inn is right opposite the working port. I found the view from my room lovely and the stevedores calling, the boats and ships and the fog that rolled in very atmospheric. The room was clean and comfy and the staff were excellent, particularly the lady who dealt with my check-in. People taking the ferry from Scrabster to the Orkneys could not fi... vad folk säger » nd a more convenient place to stay. Free parking across the road. - The welcome we received from Sarah was a credit to both her and The Ferry Inn-thank you. The room was excellent and most comfortable. The location was ideal for our touring purpose. Popeye's was great for our Bar snack in the evening, where it was lovely to chat to the locals, and The Upper Deck was lovely for breakfast the next morning.

  Good old fashioned hotel. This was my third stay in 4 years so that should say something. Superb value for money. Friendly, helpful staff. Included in the price was a full Scottish breakfast which was excellent. - very friendly and helpful staff, felt thoroughly comfortable and safe

  I have stayed previously and know to expect very dated basic but clean lodge accommodation. The breakfast is excellent and taken in the main hotel dining room. Free wifi in main hotel. Very helpful staff. Good bar and food. Good parking. - Food was excellent but a bit on the expensive side. Staff were polite and friendly. Housekeeping was excelle... vad folk säger » nt.   This is the best B & B I have stayed at. Having looked around I preferred it to the local hotels. The owners go out of their way to make your stay a pleasure. Don't miss the superb locally sourced evening meals. Followed by a relaxing sit in the sun lounge overlooking the beach, available to guests all day. My room was spotless and the bed was the most comfortable I have EVER slept in. The marine has the most wonderful setting with a superb view across thurso shore to scrabster harbour, Holborn head, Orkneys and dunned head.   This is an excellent b&b in Thurso. Yvonne was friendly and helpful, the room clean and comfortable and the b&b is in the centre of Thurso, a short walk from the train station.
