Friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Good location with a beautiful park across the road. The room was clean and comfortable. We took our dog & she was very welcomed. We were able to take her into the bar & restaurant. The staff are all very good & so was the food. There was a lot of it! It was really good value for money a little dated, but I think that's what keeps the price down 10 out of 10!

Oaklands, at other hotels you do not get the Customer Service you are

all the staff were extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome, the room was really good value for money and the breakfast was one of the best i have had in a hotel all lovely and fresh and plenty of choise the waiting on staff were extremely good. the excellent standard of the food and the quantity and variety. This was served by very attentive staff. the room was clean with adequate storage for clothes and the washing facilities were good plenty of hot water. there was no noise from other guests. I would rate it higher than the 2 star rating and comparing it to the hotel my sister was staying which was a three star we would say it was much more guest friendly nothing was too much trouble if information was requested.

we thought the hotel was fabulous, we were on a business trip, we loved the location my wife could walk to the shops. close to restaurants, bars. The Staff were so friendly, the breakfast staff were absolutely amazing friendly, professional and made you feel so welcome, we actually said at the time we haven't seen this service in a hotel for a while. The breakfast was excellent better than 5* hotels we have stayed in. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
