The hotel was very interesting and had a real antique look about it. The bedrooms were well appointed with ;nice soaps towels etc... they even provided Sherry in the room...lovely. The bed was a kingsize madfe of 2 single beds... hence an un comfortable bit in the middle...I hate that but otherwise everything else was fab. Breakfast and service w

The turndown service a night was a nice surprise.
We loved also discovering all the different nooks and crannies of the public rooms.
Delightful real fires in all public rooms including the dining room give a real country house feel.

We had a lovely family room that we reached via a set of stairs through our own door. There was plenty of room even with the double bed, two single beds and a cot! The room was completely ready for us including the cot set up and lots of towels. Wall mounted tv with children's channels! Gorgeous setting in a beautiful building. Easy distance from Blair Drummond Safari Park.

What is not to like ?
The staff make you so welcome as soon as you walk through the door Meals are to my taste, beds are comfortable everything worked.
We have stayed at the Rob Roy many times and recomended our friends to stay. willbe back on Sept with a party of 30 to 40 for 4 nights Kind regards

My mum and I went to surprise relatives who were on a tour from Nuneaton. Staff participated in the surprise and we had a lovely evening/night at the hotel.
The hotel is very old however, I was pleasantly surprised how clean everything was.
We had a bar meal which was plentiful and good value. Breakfast was excellent.

The friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for any one of them.Even my dogs were welcome. Excellent choice of meals and very wellpresented.
