  Excellent location,Five minute stroll to the Castle .The bed was superb, very big and very comfortable.Excellent choice at breakfast.Staff very efficient. We had asked for discretion at check-in in order to surprise one of our party and they followed the request exactly.Would be happy to stay here in the future. - everything, we stayed half board t... vad folk säger » he food was fabulous, our room was just perfect for us, the staff we encounted were all lovely, friendly and helpful. we didn't use the gym and spa facilities but definately will next time. the location of the hotel is ideal and central for any visitor's needs.

  Beautiful hotel with a lovely view of the hillside, quiet location yet close to the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. Dinner was good although not a vast choice over the two nights. We will stay again. - Everything.   Everything. From the greeting at the door to reception to our bags beingplaced in the best room I have stayed in the uk. The service wasfabulous and the hotel was fantastic - will be returning - I travel an awful lot and I must say the Scotsman is one of the best hotels I have ever been in. Huge room with all the trimmings. Great price. Fantastic
