  Breakfast was good value - just over £8 for unlimited buffet (inc. cooked breakfast) and unlimited Costa coffee. My bedroom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Location good - 5-7 mins walk to Princes Street and 10-15 mins walk to Royal Mile/castle. Haymarket train station 2 mins walk away - for trains to Glasgow (and to Waverley if ... vad folk säger » you don't feel like doing the 20 min walk). Murrayfield and Tynecastle about 20 mins away by foot, if you're catching some sport while in Edinburgh. S - Fabulous hotel. Staff were great, everybody was friendly and polite and went out of their way. Location is super, 2 minutes walk from haymarket station and 15 walk into Edinburgh city centre. Buses stopped outside the hotel to go to Princes street if you didn't fancy the walk. Food was good, we had breakfast and was lovely with lots to choose from. Didn't eat there otherwise but saw the food and it looked very nice. Rooms and beds clean and comfy. Great hotel.

  The hotel building was very impressive, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was superb and the food was excellent. Ideally placed for us, as we were attending the March & Rally for Scottish Independence on Calton Hill that weekend. We only stayed two nights and didn't have time to use the spa/pool but it looked really nice. Ideal for romantic walkings around the top Edinburgh attractions. We spent there lovely 3 nights during Easter, everything was good, staff very polite and helpful. Beautiful room with all the expected facilities. I would recommend to everybody.

  Everything was perfect. The quiet place and the comfortable room with enough space for luggage or relaxing after a whole day out in busy Edinburgh. We loved the location as well, very close to all you want to see in the city or the live shopping areas close to you. The place was really clean and we loved the modern , brightly decorated room. The facilities were great, eg cooking and washing etc. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Edinburgh. We would not hesitate to stay there again, it's much better value and more enjoyable than a hotel.

  This hotel is like my view of an old hotel should be steeped in history and splendour. It was a pleasure the rooms are not modern although they do have the touches like the plasma tv and modern bathroom. Overall I would not change anything about the hotel it was perfect.   Central hotel, very comtemporary and the room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant staff were particularly professional and helpful. The bar food was good also.   The corridors were quite dark but when my room door was open it was fabulous - I loved the decor of the room, the bathroom was enormous with a fabulous shower and it's got to be one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. Just a pity that it was quite noisy and there was lots of clicking and ticking from things in the room. The staff were great, the lady that sho - The hotel was convenient to both old town and new town areas. Staff was lovely and super helpful. We ate at both restaurants downstairs and really enjoyed them. The room was not huge, but it was very nice, clean, and had a large bathroom with a large walk in shower. The airport shuttle is right across the street and there are always taxis waiting outside.

  The efficiency and friendliness of the staff, especially in the dining room. With a Premier Inn you know just what to expect, comfortable beds, cleanliness and welcome, at a reasonable price. The three children like the flexibility of the children's meal options and the breakfasts are very good. We could walk to the Royal Mile inside ten minutes, ... vad folk säger » and the railway station in 25 mins (with bags), although we did use a taxi on arrival, for ease and comfort, and this cost just less than £6.00. The c - the hotel is basic but new....we had the disable room, and the bed was fantastic!l chose this hotel because of no frills but new and fresh.....great for visiting the city on foot, and lots of pub/ restaurant open till late, when we came back at evenings after Sightseeing....the breakfast was good for £8.50, with lots of choices.

  The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was friendly. Very well priced and well worth it. This was a great location for us as we were visiting friends in Bonnyrigg, so only about a 1 mile away. Plenty of parking for those with a vehicle. Tea and instant coffee in the room was nice - no phones in the room. Took advantage of the breakfasts (and o... vad folk säger » ne dinner) at the restaurant on site - Table Table. Although away from all the action in Edinburgh, it was easy enough to catch a bus to take in all t - IT was very clean and quiet, the front desk staff were very nice and very helpful to us regarding getting in to sight see in Edinburgh. They suggested that we take the bus due to parking, but we didn't and it was ok. We found parking without a problem. We would definitely recommend it if you are not interested in paying high rates in the actual city but want a nice, clean hotel and have a car to get around.

  Right from the minute the lift opened at reception area, we were very warmly welcomed by two lovely girls who were genuinely pleased to see us. This did not stop there...each and every member of staff from the domestics to the bar staff, to the waiters at breakfast to the reception were absolutely fantastic, so helpful, cheery going about their wo... vad folk säger » rk and willing to go the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I cannot rate the staff highly enough and if any premier inn - Stayed in the Premier inn on Princess street from the 2th to 23rd of Nov 2013. The Hotel is just a 5-7min walk from the waverly railway station and is directly opposite the famous Edinburgh Castle. Although we dint spend much time in the hotel and dint get a chance to dine in, but the Hotel was very nice, Clean and had all amenities one could ask for. A value for money hotel for people travelling to Scotland and are in a mood to Explore rather than stay in!

  it was clean, good location for shopping and the train station. we went for the fringe festival. we booked two room and had four in our party, the snooze box is in a great location to go to the gay bars, castle and dungeons in Edinburgh. the rooms are small but do what they need to do with a TV and wet room, they had heating and air conditioning. ... vad folk säger » we are all going back next year and going to stop at the snooze box, next year we will stay longer, great value for money and one of the best holidays - We loved the location which meant we did not have to use public transport. Parking was great, bed was very comfortable as was the bed linen and towels. Everything you need is there. We een got a free tea and coffee in the morning. Excellent. Staff were particuarily helpful and welcoming.
