  Central part of the city Nice staff Food - The staff were extremely helpful and we enjoyed being in the surroundings of the old part of the hotel. It had character as well as having modern facilties. The location was not only ideally central it was also very picturesque being surrounded by the georgian buildings around the square. We stayed in the McDonald Bath spa hotel so we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The staff can't do enough for you, opens doors always ask if your ok and if there's anything they can do for us. Absolutely amazin.

  The receptionist was so helpful and nice. The room was very, very clean and welcoming. When we walked anywhere in the hotel the staff were so friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend the Macdonald Marine Hotel to our friends. - The food was excellent. I was dissapointed in the spa facilities.   Everything. From the greeting at the door to reception to our bags beingplaced in the best room I have stayed in the uk. The service wasfabulous and the hotel was fantastic - will be returning - I travel an awful lot and I must say the Scotsman is one of the best hotels I have ever been in.   We were made to feel special from the minute we arrived. Enjoyed the whole experience immensely and intend to go back. - Room, facilities, terrace gardens, restaurant all excellent plus pleasant staff
