  I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. It also has a bar and restaurant on site which allows you to sit, relax, eat and drink (with a good selection of cocktails,... vad folk säger » whiskey, and local brews. The staff was very nice. - The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. Very approachable staff; fabulous environs, warm, clean and romantic buildings and gardens. Loved the sense of history; staying in Flora McDonald's house.

  The staff, the food, the sitting rooms were all of the highest standard. I drove and walked around by myself for a chance to reset and relax and Kinloch Lodge was such a luxurious experience. I actually tried to book elsewhere before but they were full, and I am so glad that they were now. - Perfectly sized small hotel in a beautiful setting. The guests are cosseted and valued .
