  Loved the whole place. Beautiful surroundings, fabulous accommodation, wonderfully clean & fresh bedding. We opted to have a meal in the house restaurant, as we were only staying for the one night - the meal was great and service was good. She even telephoned me after - The location is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Slaughters Country Inn and the tranquil surroundings of what is a stunning village. The staff were very welcoming, very friendly and attentive throughout the stay. Our room, in the main building, had beautiful views over the rear garden and ponds. It was very clean and comfortable and met with all of our needs. Nice to have a quiet lie in on the Saturday morning too and breakfast served until 10.30. We didn't eat at the hotel i

  Self catering apartments were good as usual- some improvements noticeable eg outdoor table and chairs for relaxing on the deck, door wedges provided. All the usual niceties too like plenty of tea and coffee, toiletries, water and fruit in the gym, towels provided in th pool area etc - The high quality of the apartment was superb.   Well firstly i would like to say the barn is absolutely stunning, good old fashioned english craftmanship is always a winner with us. Very clean and the rooms are very nicely presented, we had a great nite! Secondly what a nice group of staff. We were welcomed in and made to feel comfortable, shown to our room and asked what time we would like bre... vad folk säger » akfast in the morning. A wonderful experience also I requested a bottle of wine to be taken to the room before our arrival and what a nice bottle of w - claudiu was very helpful and came to the rescue at 23:00 after i left the key-card in the bedroom. breakfast was good value and tasty. all the staff were cheerful and helpful. i will definitely return if i visit the area again.

  Breakfast was excellent and beautifully cooked. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was central with parking which was great for the shops. Also there was a small but comfortable bar with tv. - Everything.
