  Hotel was easy to find, parking was not a problem although we arrived after the parking restrictions. Five minutes walk to the golf course. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The food was delicious!! The room was very clean & tidy, spacious although the bathroom was more a shower room but adequate for our length of stay. The breakfast was good, and the hotel also has a restaurant/bar which has quite good ratings in the town (I was told booking is recommended for a table as it gets quite busy). You also get 5% discount off drinks in the restaurant/bar if you are a guest.

  bra! - We only used the hotel as a staging point for a trip, we were made very welcome, the room was very well appointed, and the breakfast faultless...   Happy with service and rooms. We were late for breakfast but the hotel still provided us with an excellent service. Convenient location and parking. Modified original booking without any problems too. - Peace, quiet and comfort of the rooms and the general public area. Breakfast choice of fruits. Crisp brown toast for breakfast.

  The hotel was very clean and tidy and the room I booked had excellent views across the bay. The staff where extremely helpful at tall times and the food was also excellent. I wiould return again. - The hotel staff were very attentive but not intrusive; the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the food was fresh and cooked to order.

  We dined with friends who were celebrating a 70th birthday and we were presented with a bottle of fizz compliments of the management. A gesture which was greatly appreciated.   The 12 of February we got married in St Andrews. We love this place, which is the reason why we chose it for our wedding ceremony. We wondered where we would like to spend two days after the wedding and after reading the opinion we decided to stay in Ogston hotel...And it was a great choice. We have booked a room with double bed...what we saw when we a - The room was great we had a Deluxe Twin and it was a big room with a large bathroom and a rolled top bath. The location on North street means it's just a short walk to the beach and the Old course and to the town as well. The staff where very helpful and the breakfast was really good. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and not to costly .We will stay again in this hotel the next time we are in St Andrews

  We had a small but comfortable room which faced on the street, though we had no street noise and slept undisturbed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. We had a car, but we could easily have walked to downtown St Andrews in about 10 minutes. - Great accommodation with lovely people and good service.   We very much appreciated the warm, accommodating, staff! we also enjoyed the excellent Pub next door! While it was busy, there was no noise or discomfort because of other people or staff. - Found the hotel clean,friendly receptionist,room comfortable and breakfast better than i expected.A very enjoyable stay in the opinion of my whole group.

Quite a difference from the typical inner city European Hotel. They have an excellent Italian Restaurant which the locals seem to love. Even on a Sunday evening we had to wait for a table. Be sure to make a reservation the morning before. Food is excellent at a great price. Breakfast is terrific.

  Everything, the room was so big and comfortable with, a stunning wet room.All the facilities you needed were in the room. The breakfast to the lunch and the evening meal was very, very, good, well cooked and great choices!
