  What a pleasant surprise. We booked this hotel because it had an offer "Best deal" and needed an overnight stay at Stansted. Even though the hotel is ideally situated close to the airport and the M4 no noise could be heard. Brekfast is offered but it has also a great service building right next to it with fast food restaurants, Starbucks and a sup... vad folk säger » ermarket. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely friendly and courteous. The room and the bathroom were large and the bed comfortable. Definite - I was here to attend a wedding a few miles away and so none of your above categories fit at all so I had to pick a box and chose mountains as this is the most unsuitable.The staff were very helpful and although I arrived before official check in time I( was able to check in straightaway. It was a hot day but the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly.The helpful receptionist phoned for a taxi for me.

  Very good, spacious room (I was upgraded free of charge from single to double-twin). Good bedroom facilities including mini-fridge. Comfortable beds. Tasty breakfasts (I particularly recommend the poached egg on toast).   When we booked online we were given a room within the guest house. Shortly afterwards we were called and offered an apartment as the guest house was actually full. When we arrived we were given keys to a ground floor flat opposite the guest house. It was lovely and spacious. The staff were very nice, Although we were told online there was no break... vad folk säger » fast and that we had to vacate the room by 11am. That was'nt the case. Breakfast was included and we were left until midday. No complaints from me. Pe - explained my uncle who was travelling with me, was 86 and not so mobile, we were put in a new addition to the guesthouse a ground floor flat. Clean, 2 double bedrooms, lounge , kitchen, and an excellant full english breakfast, best £82 spent in a while. A Davidson. p.s our 4th or 5th stay.

  We recently stayed here for a wedding in Royston. It was further out than we were expecting and the Hotel staff were very helpful with recommending local cab firms and offering to book for us. The room we had was in the converted stable block which was large and comfortable and perfectly adequate for our needs.. The bed in particular was huge!
