  I was delighted with the very clean and pleasantly laid out accommodation which included an ensuite bathroom. Entrance to the lodge was by key swipe into a cosy entrance hall with an extra key swipe door taking you to the bedrooms. This gave both a sense of security and independence for going in and out. The carvery had good value choices fo - I was very impressed with the friendly efficient staff. I stayed alone and booked here as my partner was having an operation at the near by castle hill hospital. The lady at the desk was very helpful and even had a bus timetable for the bus to the hospital. The room was lovely and very comfortable. I had the carvery in the evening and it was excellent.
