Nice little place to get our head down after a long tiring day wedding planning. Perfect for what we needed and would definitely recommend for our wedding guests in June 2014. Breakfast was superb. Lovely couple who own the place were nice enough to chat with us and give advice on the area.

Very friendly owner and nothing was any trouble.Had to catch early ferry 6.30am to Befast and she provided my sister and myself with an excellent packed lunch as we would not be there for breakfast.It was much appreciated.The breakfast the next morning was excellent.Very convenient for both ferry terminals to Ireland

Everything was excellent, the room was spotless with tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was superb we were asked what we didnt like for breakfast then we got everything else.The owners were so helpful. By far the best B/B we have ever stayed in. Chris/Pat Wimborne Dorset.

From an extremely friendly welcome to a well appointed room to a superb breakfast, our stay was first class. Free parking at the door and right in the middle of town with lots of places to eat and drink, cannot be faulted.

Lesley& Paul were excellent hosts and were very friendly and helpful. Even though we wanted to leave early for the Open Championship all of the breakfast items were laid out for us - milk. orange juice in coolboxes, bread for toasting in cling film. Accommodation very clean, easy parking, moffat is a good venue.

We asked for the king size delux room, for this you don't stay in the main hotel you stay in the owners property on the shoreline. They couldn't do enough for us from our time of arrivel till we left... There is no bar or resteraunt at the main house but a 10 min walk gets you everything that you need. Everything! Bruce the manager really went the extra mile for me! The staff was extremely accommodating. From the moment we arrived till long after we left! The room & ensuite bathroom (and general surroundings) were clean, the bed was soft & comfortable and it was absolutely roasting in the room when we arrived (never a bad thing!). Both Isabell and Phillip were lovely hosts..they were made for running a B&B. Breakfast was served fresh on our plates each morning. Conveniently located just across the road from Gretna Green station for those using trains, and about a 10 minute walk to the Famous Blacksmith's Shop.
