  We were extremely impressed with the room in which we stayed. Our 19 month old daughter was given a lovely cot to sleep in, our sheets were always turned down by the time we got back at night and mints on our pillows-you cant get better than that! Our bathroom was extremely clean and we were provided with wonderful little shampoos and body lotion e... vad folk säger » tc. Best place we have ever stayed!!! - We arrived tired after driving from Oxford, and our room was not ready. However the reception staff were marvellously kind and welcoming and gave us a complimentary tray of tea in the lounge. When it became clear that there would be a further delay, we were switched to another room immediately. I am full of praise for the reception staff.

  the games room, we used the most.there was a very gfood singer, that was not really our thing, but everyone else seemed to like it , and we could enjoy it,but still play pool etc in the annex off from it, so it was well thought out - Very impressed by naveens hospitality and even upgraded myroom...nice one!

  A very warm welcome. Would stay again and tell family and friends howgood it was. The breakfast was very good. Paul and lorraine made youfill right at home - Lovely friendly couple running the hotel. Good facilities. 5 minutes walk from the Riviera Leisure Centre where I was attending a function.

  Was upgraded from executive double to executive suite on arrival which was a nice surprise. The decoration and facilities in the room were superb, one of the best rooms that I have ever stayed in.   This was a nice friendly local hotel - although the building and surroundings itself was not all that attractive the plants outside were nice and there had been a lot of thought btaken over the internal decorations, such as some nice artwork.   The hotel was excellent and certainly lived up to it's description and reviews. Marion and Les (the owners) were very welcoming (the pot of tea on arrival was very much appreciated). We stayed in one of the garden rooms which had recently been refurbished - it was lovely. The house is in a great location for Torquay and near to Cockington Country Park. The hotel is great and you feel right at home in a relaxing atmosphere.   The hotel is set in a very good location near the sea. It has character of the old seaside town hotel, complete with tartan style carpet! Some lovely garden with tropical plants including a eucalyptus tree. I found the manager on call, Alex, very helpful when I needed change of mattress. Well done Alex. - stayed for 2 nights with a party of 7. and when we arrived we we`re greeted by a very nice chap at the reception and given the keys to the rooms to relax.and basically from that moment on the 2 nights was excellent and all the staff smiled and nothing was too much trouble.the 5 course meal was fab,the beds comfortable & breakfast ample.all in all a lovely weekend had by all

  Hotel was easy to find, great for parking, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Staff were first class, friendly and efficient.   The owners were very helpful and suggested some interesting things to see nearby. Lots of leaflets and dining ideas provided too. They definitely enhanced our stay and made us want to revisit the area for longer next time! Great location- 2mins walk to the sea, food options nearby. Free parking at the front of the property. Will definitely stay again. - The proprietors were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful when my mother became ill whilst we were staying there. The breakfast was well cooked and served promptly.
