  The location is superbe, with magnificent views from our room, the dining room, lounge and terrace. The staff were most attentive and helpful, and we enjoyed the food. Lynton is a great base to explore Exmoor,and the hotel is easy to find and beautifully placed to walk the towns of Lynton and Lynmouth. - Staff very welcoming, attentive and friend... vad folk säger » ly.   The hotel was beautiful, the setting lovely. There was a wedding taking place but we were warned. However, it would have been good if we could have eaten something at the hotel. Maybe ordered takeaway if nothing else! The staff were extremely pleasant, polite and helpful (especially Russell who appeared to be on duty throughout our stay!) The room... vad folk säger » was very clean. We could not hear the wedding which we had been assured of. Also the rooms were not too hot as in other hotels we have stayed in - The room we stayed in was a gold room, clearly refurbished to a high standard. Luxurious room with a view out over the gardens and down to the sea. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Ideally placed for a five minute walk down into the harbour where there is a range of bars and clubs. There is a slight hill walk down and back up to the hotel but we didnt find it that bad although it could be for the less agile. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again.

  There were excellent facilities at the hotel (swimming pool, games area etc) and plenty to keep our children occupied. The rooms were very clean and well serviced and the hotel is in a great location, near to Torquay town and beach, but in a quiet area. - The friendliness of all the staff was consistent.   I liked the indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. My wife was also impressed with the spa treatments. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that we could book an apartment at the hotel, so we could prepare our own meals. I liked the fact that the hotel was close to the sea. - The reception was very welcoming and warm when we arrived. The food was good, we didn't have to wait long for it.   Our favourite hotel on our trip.We booked a small room with en suite and it was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was brilliant, right on the harbour. Food was great, people were friendly and a very relaxed attitude. We loved Ilfracombe itself, so much to do and see. Plenty on offer for all types of people. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and huge portions. Nothing was too much trouble and even carried our bags up to our room when we said we could manage. Highly recommend paying the extra for a luxury room, the spa bath was fantastic size with plenty of hot water and room for two! Also the huge bed was straight out of fifty shades and really comfy.

  Idyllic location. Friendly & helpful staff. We last used this site 9 years ago but stopped coming due to site needing improvements. The current owners have spent a lot of time & money improving the site and are doing a great job. We stayed in Daisy which is perfect for couples, it was very clean and has everything you need, the only small ... vad folk säger » negative is the shower water pressure although hot it was a bit feebly. Nice to see the site is now very dog friendly too. Did not get time to sample - The harbour. It was amazing how in the morning one can actually swim in the clean sea, where the spring meets the ocean, and in the evening one can actually walk along the seabed!! The chalet is clean and quite comfortable with a back garden where the children can play. The on site playing ground for the children was an added bonus as was the close walk to the harbour. The location between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin is also convenient, as is the nearby Watermouth Castle, right opposite the str
