  Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The breakfast selection was amongst the best I have ever had, can you believe they even make their own bread and yogurt! Both of which were simply delicious.   the hotel was superb, the room was very much a 'country house' style and was one of the nicest hotel rooms that I have stayed in. The breakfast was freshly cooked using local produce and the staff were very friendly and helpful.   Beautiful surroundings. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. A real treat. - can't fault it. a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. the attention to detail for is great, champagn on arrival, umbrella and welly boots for country walks, loads of facilities. the complimentary wine tasting is a great way to start your evening.

  Superb location with hotel tucked into the side of a green hill overlooking the sea - very peaceful and serene ! All rooms are located at ground level (brilliant if stairs are a problem) and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. Overall a fantastic stay and my wife and I will certainly be going back again. - Staff were very professional, friendly & attentive providing an excellent service. Food was very good but perhaps a little expensive. Lovely location with spectacular views. New leisure facilities at the hotel (gym, sauna etc) will be great when finished. The pool is fantastic.

  we stayed in one of the lodges. very quiet, very comfortable and spacious 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Introduced my wife and young daughter to the driving range and now they are both hooked! Breakfast was excellent as was the clubhouse and swimming pool.   I booked a one week stay, B&B in a single room hoping for a relaxing holiday after a busy few months at work. On arrival check in was easy and very friendly. Then came the part I had dreaded. (As a single traveller, on occasions rooms elsewhere have been little more than a broom cupboard with a view of the bins...!).   There were excellent facilities at the hotel (swimming pool, games area etc) and plenty to keep our children occupied. The rooms were very clean and well serviced and the hotel is in a great location, near to Torquay town and beach, but in a quiet area. - The friendliness of all the staff was consistent.   The welcome was superb, complimentary drinks mini bar and chocolate bar. I know it doesn't sound like much but those little touches really do make a stay more memorable. The staff were very helpful and the iPad they give you on check in was a superb addition. Location is great, The po - This is without a doubt one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is efficient but laid back . The hotel had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and the fitness facilities although not extensive were adequate. The room was well equipped and a good size (we stayed in a superior room). The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was really tasty with good choices
