Very friendly owners, they were more than willing to help and were lovely to chat to giving it a lovely personal feel to our stay.
The room was very luxurious, the bed especially was amazingly comfy!
There were walking route plans provided to help walkers and to give ideas to visitors as to which areas to visit.

Everything about the stay was delightful. From arriving with a warm welcome to recommendations for food that evening, Alex and Jeff were very helpful and polite in everything they did. One particular aspect that stands out in the breakfast, a stunning selection of everything you could ever wish for! Home made bread and scones with homemade jam, lovely! The room that me and my girlfriend stayed in was expected of somewhere of this calibre, very clean, very comfortable and a nice place to be. Ale

Classic Lake district countryside setting. Access to picturesque, easy, 3 mile walk to Conistion Lake through fields and woods. 3 minute walk to beautiful Hawkshead village or 5 minutes through the back of the 14th century church yard. The B&B has a back garden with tables and chairs for an evening glass of wine. Each room has a Fabulous hot shower with pressure that no other English shower system could boast. Great breakfast. Great all round value.

We received the warmest of welcomes, room was beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished, very clean and exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast menu was one of the best we have ever had, all good! Although a fairly steep hill into the town on the way back we did it in a leisurely stroll and hardly noticed it. Would definitely recommend and if we return to Kendal Beech House would be my accommodation choice.

When I arrived I got a marvelous warm welcome even though my booking was very short notice. The room and facilities are beautiful and spotlessly clean. The bathroom is out of this world and there are some wonderful little touches that make this a special experience. If you are tired of ordinary hotel nights you must stay here! -
