  From entering the log house to leaving all the staff were very helpful and friendly.The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful.The restaurant was a delight to sit in and the bedroom had great charm with one of the biggest and most comfortable beds ever. - The Log House was superb.   The Edwardene is classy, friendly and impeccably maintained. The room we were in "Heather" was compact but only because the ensuite had been given generous space to include a full bath. A good trade off and the remaining space was cosy and equipped to a high standard (e.g. Laura Ashley bedspread). The breakfasts were excellent and friendly. I woul... vad folk säger » d happily pay the little extra to stay here again. - Marie and Russ did special things to help me access the single room, as I have a bad knee. Russ carried my luggage to my car, parked a block away. This was especially appreciated. Marie phoned me to let me know that they would carry my luggage downstairs for me. Great comforter and pillow, extra pillow on bed. Location close to restaurants and shops.

  Excellent location. The apartment was very well equiped and the ownermade us feel very welcome. Although we stayed there in summer it wasquite cold and wet but heating was available all day if we wanted touse it.
