  Very friendly, modern and clean environment. Very varied english breakfast (the pancakes are heavenly) and a continental breakfast that is worth its name (Müsli, different flakes, rolls and several local cheeses). Central but quiet location. From the cheery, light decor to the option of ten different breakfast choices it is exceptional. Fiona and Arnaud are excellent hostess and host. We enjoyed a week there.

  I liked everything about the hotel, I have o complaints whatsoever. The cup of tea on arrival was most welcoming after a long day travelling, the room was exceptionally clean, as was the whole property.   The hosts were very friendly. Even though we were there at a very busy family time (two daughters birthdays) we were made to feel at home. Wonderful peaceful setting with exceptional country views.   A recently renovated property which has been decorated to a very high standard. The room we stayed in had a good sea view and was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although the house is very old, it has a modern feel to it and the decor and furniture reflect this. Chelsea House is only 5 - 10 minutes walk from the town which has a good mix of well known high street names as well as many loc - Donna the landlady was lovely when we checked us in. the property has been decorated to a very high boutique standard. When getting to the room we was very pleased with the light, roomy, modern bedroom with four poster bed with a spacious well appointed en suite and the most fabulous view of the sea, pendenis castle and the coastline. we had breakfast in bed on everyday of our stay and the food was delicious. furniture, bedding, towels etc are very good quality.

  Everything. Cool decor, kind, caring, genuine owners. Don't stay anywhere else!!! I especially liked that they didn't have Sky TV, or anything like that to take away from the beautiful setting.   This was booked at the last minute and after a long trip i was given a very welcoming reception when i arrived. The room/house was lovely,comfortable and very clean and the extra bits provided in the room were also very nice. I loved all the quirkiness of the house, the art, the glasses in the dining room etc. The breakfast was stunning. Thank you... vad folk säger » Carol and Mark i had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay again and would recommend you to anyone going to Newquay. - We received a friendly welcome, the decor and art work were unusual and immaculate, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We discovered a beach called Lusty Glaze which was within easy walking distance of Bedlam House which was absolutely fantastic. The train journey from Exeter to Newquay was very scenic and really added to the whole experience.

  Caroline was very hospitable. The pot of tea on arrival was a lovely touch. Great to be within walking distance of Looe itself with some really helpful hints about where to eat from Caroline. The room was exceptionally clean and the bathrobes most welcome. The location is perfect. Our room was Suite 6 which is simply the most wonderful room we have ever stayed in; from the views over the harbour to the roll top bath. Angela & Olivier (& Louise) have clearly put so much of themselves into the place, the decor, the ambiance is just perfect. Olivier cooks a mean breakfast just to top it all off & the coffee is delightful. We will certainly return & if you are wondering whether to visit or not..... Go for it!!!
