  Had a great 5 night stay. Great location in the countryside on an easy to use bus route. No need to rent a car. Short walk to the coast through beautiful lanes. Good food, great service, fun folk music in pub. Would stay here again if we come back to Guernsey. - Nice location, not too far from the sea.   The staff make the place - they are all excellent. Superb inclusive breakfast...best I have had in a hotel - in fact, probably the best anywhere. There is a bit of a slope walking up from town, but I'm an old guy and had no problem - just a 10 minute stroll from St. Helier centre.   Friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Good location with a beautiful park across the road. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was continental with a good selection and served at your table. We had enjoyable time in the hotel bar talking to Phil the owner who ensured the music was to the liking of the guests. The staff are all very good & so was the food. There was a lot of it! It was really good value for money a little dated, but I think that's what keeps the price down 10 out of 10!

  Everything. From the first point of contact with this Hotel, this has been a First Class experience at Le Chene The Hotel is well managed..! Staff are warm, friendly as well as very Professional in all their Duties Food served to a very High Standard catering for special diets i.e. Vegetarian, which was imperative in our case, the Chef is a "Profe... vad folk säger » ssional" we enjoyed both our Breakfast and Dinner everyday of our trip. Waiting Staff are in one word "Exceptional." Can't wait to return back in to G - Staff were helpful & friendly, the common rooms & bedroom were decent and well maintained. The hotel was correct value for money and I would stay there again. I usually stay in the centre of St Peter Port but in future I will enjoy a quieter location using taxi and/or my legs!

  The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our bedroom overlooked the sea - lovely view. Although small, the pool is an added attraction.There is a great promenade behind the hotel running along the sea-front.. - The indoor swimming pool was pleasant, and quiet.   The Inn met all our expectations, we enjoyed the walk up from the centre of St helier to the hotel. Staff were very helpful and you always got the personal touches and felt you werent one of many guests, but always treated as individuals. Nothing was to much trouble. The breakfasts were good. Food very fresh and tasty, not to much from a portion p... vad folk säger » erspective. Our room was very modern, clean and comfortable. Clean towels every day which was lovely. Want to go back and would recommend a short stay - We stayed there for 4 nights and the facilities. Although it is an older style hotel the refurbishment is to an excellent standard. The rooms were clean and comfortable. DVD player and IPod dock were great extras and the staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. The in house restaurant was excellent both in quality and value for money.

  The hotel was far better equipped than I had expected. The room was spotlessly clean, also the bathroom was excellent, with big fluffly towels! There was more than enough tea, coffee and milk in the room. The staff were a delight - friendly, pleasant and helpful.   I booked this hotel on reading the reviews of other customers, and I was not disapointed. It was a very well run and friendly hotel, both management and staff went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely holiday, the food was suberb and good value for money,I don;t know how anyone can be unhappy with the breakfast as everything was on offer. ... vad folk säger » We ate our evening meals in the hotel and in four nights each meal was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel. My mum is 77 and the walk into - The location of this hotel was ideal for us, it was quiet and only 10 min walk down to the main shopping area. The room was larger than i was expecting as we only booked the standard. It was very comfortable place to stay. We did not use the restaurant, but if the breakfast is anything to go by, then it would be well worth it, we were out and about most of the day and tended to eat where we were.
