  As we were in Jersey to visit our son who lives in St Helier it was so easy to use public transport rather than taking our hire care in the evenings The views of the beach etc. The lovely decor of public rooms in hotel and the bedroom was excellant even though we looked onto the car parking area. - Clean, spacious single room with double bed and... vad folk säger » ample storage space.   Bra hotell, rimligt gångavstånd till allt i St. Helier - The facilities at the hotel were excellent, the swimming complex across the road was brilliant addition to the already excellent hotel.   Great hotel in a fantastic bay location. We had a lovely sea view room which had a shared balcony overlooking the beach. The rooms are fine - plenty of storage space for a long holiday. Breakfast was excellent - wide selection of cereals, fruit etc on the buffet and an excellent hot breakfast - cooked to order and all served nice and hot. The hotel has a great reputation for it's food - an extensive fish and seafood menu a - A great spot for basing yourself if you want to explore the jersey coastline, the staff were fantastic and really made us feel at home, many locals use the public bar and they are a great bunch, up for a laugh and generally quite tame. The food was excellent, we were trapped there by blizzards for three extra days while the airport was closed and the hotel made every effort to lessen the impact by allowing us free use of their laundry facilities etc. And it has the best duke box in the bar ever

  The hotel is set right on the coast with wonderful views of Corbiere lighthouse. We stayed in October and the hotel was very, very quiet only a few guests. Our room was fantastic as it overlooked the coast, had a balcony and it was large and clean. The staff were very welcoming and even recommend the restaurant next door for our evening meal, eve... vad folk säger » n thought they were open at the hotel for food. The breakfast was also good too. So overall a great place! - The whole experience. The room had a wonderful view, comfy bed, en-suite, clean, decent sizes mugs for drinks in the room. Restaurant and bar clean and well staffed, food good. All staff very friendly and helpful. Garden and pool area facing the sea, very relaxing and peaceful. would like to return in future. Thr beach at St Brelade was beautiful with a good choice of restaurants and free car parking on Sunday!

  We were very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff, especially Donna the manageress who was extremely helpful all the time. We liked the cleanliness and the fact that the towels and drink making facilities were renewed every day. We enjoyed the entertainment as do the residents of Grandes Rocques who use the Wayside cheer as their local... vad folk säger » . The food was very good with plenty of choice and reasonable prices. If we go back to Guernsey this will definitely be our first choice to stay. - To be honest there was nothing we didn't like.We loved our room (27).The beds were very comfortable,the bedding and towels clean and fresh.David,Carla,Alex and Philippa were superb and looked after us really well and we let them know this.Thanks too to the kitchen staff whose meals we enjoyed each evening.We also enjoyed the entertainment whilst we were there.   The staff were brilliant and helpful. I was ill while I was there and they couldn't do enough for me. And they looked after my husband as I never left the room. The hotel is in a great location, good bus links to the rest of the island. Great walks, your right on the sea front. The bed was comfy, plenty of fresh towels, a - The hotel is in a great location - great views and within very easy reach of lively beaches, airport and St Peter Port. The staff are accommodating, friendly and very knowledgable. Though not the most modern of hotels, the price is fantastic and we would definitely come back for a cheap yet lovely weekend getaway.
