  James & Nelly the propietors, are the most welcoming and warm people that I have encountered in a long time. Nelly is bubbly and full of energy, James -, a little more laid back but very affable. They compliment each other well. Nelly's chilli con carne is to die for and James's selection of malts exquisite. The Hotel is clean, comfortable, ha... vad folk säger » s a balance of old and modern, the rooms very cosy and value for money package, 200%! - Friendly and welcoming hosts. Very helpful and generous with local advice. Reasonable B&B rates included excellent Scottish breakfast, great value. Evening meals simple, tasty and wholesome taken in the bar lounge with an open fire. Sky Sports channel meant we saw the Masters golf - a bonus! Really enjoyed our stay over two nights. Would definitely come back.

  What is not to like ? The staff make you so welcome as soon as you walk through the door Meals are to my taste, beds are comfortable everything worked. We have stayed at the Rob Roy many times and recomended our friends to stay. willbe back on Sept with a party of 30 to 40 for 4 nights Kind regards Pat and Charlie Smith ... vad folk säger » - My mum and I went to surprise relatives who were on a tour from Nuneaton. Staff participated in the surprise and we had a lovely evening/night at the hotel. The hotel is very old however, I was pleasantly surprised how clean everything was. We had a bar meal which was plentiful and good value. Breakfast was excellent.
