  Off season (so limited dinner menu) but truly excellent value for money. House has been extremely well upgraded, beautifully warm, luxurious fittings in both bedrooms and public rooms. Staff recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. Breakfast more than adequate. - Personal service and friendliness. Overall ambience of hotel had been retained from original building - very warm feeling.
