  friendly and efficient, pleasant stay - although the hotel is a big old place the rooms were extremely clean the beds very comfortable, we didnt get a chance to eat breakfast as we awere leaving on the 6.15 ferry but was offered continental breakfast instead. excellent value for money and I wouldnt hesitate to stay there again

  Hotel well situated overlooking the Bay. Booking included continental breakast but we in fact got full cooked breakfast ! Very limited parking which LetsBookHotel.com did not say we had to book in advance however hotel managed to find us a space when we arrived.   Loved the Swimming pool and Spa, amazing facilities with wonderful views and Craignure is best location on the island - right in the middle of the island so short travel both directions to Iona and Tobermory, Bar meals and Restaurant were 4/5 star - great food and staff - We liked everything the staff were very helpful.

  We had a warm welcome after a very stressful drive in snowy conditions. Our car ran off the road! We phoned ahead to explain we would be late. We eventually arrived after midnight and were welcomed. We felt we had arrived at a warm and safe haven. We had a long sleep in the next morning to recover from our ordeal. Oban is a very pretty town, especially in the - Very good price and excellent location close to the town centre. The house was lovely and warm- essential in the winter months. The room had everything you need and coffee as well. They were very friendly and gave us all the information we wanted in a helpful manner.

  We booked 3 rooms at the last minute and did not notice that the rooms were not en-suite. We were concerned as we had an 80 year old solo lady in our party but everything was fine. Nice clean guest house and very nice owners.   Stopped over night after travelling on a ferry most of the day. I emailed them ahead to say we would be checking in late and was advised perhaps we would want to eat before we arrived as the kitchens closed at 9pm, so we were able to eat in a nearby town. We checked in and only saw one lady who was the daughter, she was - Staff were very friendly and looked after our luggage, as we arrived too early. We then went to Inverary and looked around the castle. They even took the bags upstairs before we came back. Room was quirky and lovely. Bathroom too. Breakfast had cereal, fruit, full cooked Scottish breakfast, toast and fish. Plenty to eat. Nice view from restaurant. Also have garden to sit in.

  The hotel was in a lovely location, a perfect break before travelling further into Scotland. The welcome was genuinely friendly and all staff were very helpful. Although not included in the price of room our £8 Full Scottish breakfast was plentiful and the Haggis was lovely. Rooms were very comfortable having been recently updated, contemporary, stylish, clean and with the oak skirting boards and door jambs etc - the location was stupendous and we had probably the best room in the hotel for the view - the room was both spacious and comfortable and kept spotlessly clean - many of the staff were young but very professional and polite - the hotel itself was very quirky in its layout but we kind of liked that - the food we had at t-he hotel was OK nothing really to complain about but also nothing exceptional - the cullen skink however was delicious - however if we stay here again we will be mindful of the c
