Although the location of the hotel is off-road, there was no problem reaching as we were picked up promptly by Mr. Jeth at almost midnight from the airport (less than 10 mins drive) ... extremely friendly and helpful staff. (It was great taking few pictures of the countryside - beside a broken 2 seater someone airplane left there). A very unconventional reception (the card was swiped inside a car garage sort of, I would say).... but that was the whole beauty .. everything was different about th.
alla recensioner » We stayed here when travelling back from the airport. I had good communication prior to arriving and we were picked up and brought back to the airport the next day all free of charge. All the staff that we spoke to were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a travel cot erected in the room prior to our arrival, the rooms were very comfortable and spacious and the wet room was fantastic. We couldn't fault the stay at all and will definitely be using the hotel again for subsequen. All the staff we met were helpful & friendly. Asked about food & drink as we arrived in the afternooon and were leaving very early the next morning for a flight from Bristol. We phoned them and they picked us up and took us to a pub that did excellent food & drink. When we wished to go back to the room we just had to phone them up and they came & picked us up. Excellent service. Lift to airport was includud also in the price. Would recommend to friends and other users. It is very handy for Bristol Airport. I was looking for somewhere to break my journey after arriving at Bristol airport and stayed here for one night for the first time. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and all facilities were provided and in good condition. I had a very relaxing night. I got a friendly reception and was shown to the room. They also offer a secure parking service for people flying from Bristol Airport. Room lovely and clean, gent we met at reception jolly n helpful gave us name and directions for local pub with good food . he was spot n great little village nice people.Watched couple of bunnies play from our room later that night.Booked to be close to airport but would book again to stop for weekend do some walks and revisit village. As a frequent traveler in both business and pleasure ( at least 30 hotels per year) I found the hotel staff extremely pleasant, the room of the highest level of cleanliness and comfortable. The location is excellent for both the city and the airport. Thank you for an excellent stay. The room was spacious, clean and ideally situated for the airport. There was a problem with the transfer from the airport to the hotel but as I had to take a taxi they paid me immediately and there was an apology the next day, perfect. It was lovely to have a fully equipped kitchen so we had a picnic dinner and breakfast. The location was for me excellent as it was 8 min from the airport but outside of traffic t is located so the room was very quite, which for me is very important. I also liked the ample bed. The rooms were VERY cleaned, what is excellent. The location is calm, despite having the airport very near, but the noise wasn't a problem at all. No airplanes at night landing/taking off. It is a good place to stay for 2 or 3 nights it is very near the airport but not very noisy it is handy for trips into and around Bristol it is cheap. Simple, clean cheap accomodation. The location is quite hard to find in the dark and is not all that clearly signed from the road (but I was told that they have had problems with the local authority, who won't allow them to put up signs at the entrance). The carpet on the floor was still clean, hope it will stay so. Very poor WiFi (despite it was free). It was hard to find the location, even with the GPS. My room only had a shower in the room, no bath, but I wouldn't have used a bath anyway so it wasn't a problem. As a first visitor, the location of the accommodation was a little confusing. At first it seemed that we had arrived at an industrial site. We should have studied the directions closer maybe. All was well at the end. Can't think of anything that could have improved our experience!. No replenishment of tea, coffee etc after first night. High security means that there is electric gates at the entrance of the lodgings. You must buzz to be able to enter the premises (every time, even after check in) which is not always immediate if nobody is on the premises. However, at least the lodgings were safe and secure and this was not a huge problem. Bit difficult to find but it was very foggy so missed the huge signs and it did not help that the sat nav post code took us beyond the turning to Park Farm. As it was close to dark when we arrived, we went past the turning. I think it needs to be explained that it is the entrance to a farm and not a lane you are looking for.On the map it looks like a lane, so I ended up going up the next turning. couldnt find it very well,a sign post on the main route would have been handy. A little bit remote, noise of aircraft early in the morning. It was a bIt too close to airport but great if you are staying there for an early morning flight. The free shuttle service from bristol Airport to westfield Lodge didn't happen, as the two telephone calls weren't picked-up and we were charged a £10 taxis fee. A little noisy, we were woken at midnight by people arriving upstairs and again at 6 am by the same people leaving, however I suppose this is normal for airport stop overs. Uninviting access and exterior. Signage. When I arrived not sure I was in right place was as in middle of a farm / lorry park. Very hard to find in the dark! Appears to be in an industrial paek. Difficult to find in the dark. Don't be put off by portacabin reception. 24 hour parking operation on site so very attentive. Room could be a little better sound proofed, noisey neighbours during our visit. Noise of airplanes, stop about 11pm & restart 6.30am. No spare toilet paper roll as one on wall ran out during the night - best to check how much is there on check-in. For satnav use lodge postcode & look for Farm Park business Park sign as info on confirmation details do not appear to work properly for TomTom. Sofa-bed didin't have a bed covers. nothing. directions to enter property needed to be clearer - their were two of us looking for how to get in!. Place was difficult to find. Nothing. *a bit hard to find. Nothing. It was exactly what we wanted. The room was too warm for me even with the radiators off.
