  The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. In fact, the manager made a point of welcoming us as we enjoyed a pre-dinner drink in the bar which was very thoughtful. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel situated in a beautiful setting. We were greeted by a receptionist who immediately arranged for someone to take our bags up to our rooms. Both rooms were very clean, comfortable and had beautiful views over the Chatsworth Estate. The evening meal in the Garden Room was excellent.

  The price was right, the age of this Inn makes it a bit more interesting. The room was big, had a nice sized TV, and plenty of space. A very basic room, but met all of my expectations. A VERY friendly staff made it even better.
