When I arrived at a long drive, I was made to feel instantly at home. The Kents were welcoming, helpful with ideas of how to spend my time, and at the same time not at all intrusive. I love Stewart's fantastic art work and enjoyed looking at his work in his studio. Breakfast was excellent. Fabulous stay. -

My husband and I were booked in for 4pm, after a 6 ½ hour trip, mainly in rain, we arrived 3 hours early. Alan was very welcoming and not fazed at all, our room was ready and we were taken up, Alan helped with our luggage and was very informative about the area.

We arrived as a family, having booked to stay the night before catching
the ios ferry the next morning. Arriving early afternoon to drop our
luggage off we had a chat with the very charming and friendly owner
(male), he suggested we may want to get the afternoon ferry on that day
(it had been delayed so was leaving at 2.30) as we would get to Scilly
earlier. We managed to do that, and we were so moved by the hosts
generosity ( he lost a booking because of it!). We will definately
recommend and

Right from the happy welcome by Lynda to the pleasant spacious room, comfortable bed and good shower, we had a really enjoyable 3 days at Torwood House.

Truly and lovely B&B. Located on a quiet street only a few minutes walk from Penzance with good pubs and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and big enough to last us through lunch. The staff was super friendly and the room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and decorated adorably. We even got little gifts of local wine! Highly recommended!

We were made to feel very much at home in this beautiful house. Everywhere you look there is something interesting which has been chosen and placed with an artist's eye for detail. The best guesthouse I have ever stayed in. Immaculate everywhere, the breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked for us. The hosts very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended. We were staying for just one night whilst visiting the nearby cliffside Minack Theatre, our hosts had even packed us a bag of rugs, blankets and waterproofs to take with us if needed.

Everything! Helpful and friendly hosts, quiet and spotlessly clean house, very good breakfasts...and just a couple minutes walk to the beach, a few minutes more into the town. Also extremely good value for money. I have stayed in many guest houses over the years and I would say The Lynwood is the very best of the best. I loved my stay there. -

As well as a very comfortable bed the room had all the little extras like a plentiful supply of tea, coffee, biscuits and hair dryer. The breakfast choice was very good, well cooked and delicious. The hosts were very helpful and cheerful. It was spotlessly clean.

Totally amazing location. View from our huge window was breathtaking. We could walk almost anywhere. Parking was available. Little sitting area, although tiny, was cozy and a great place to sit and make use of the wifi. Owners very helpful and friendly. TOTALLY loved the entire area of Cornwall, particulary Penzance!
