  I'm an IT Consultant and stay in hotels all around the UK, I have to say that Bay View Bed and Breakfast is probably the best I've stayed in for many years due to the wonderful quiet location, the room was incredibly clean and well presented, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was divine, hot, freshly cooked and all local produce, Sasha i... vad folk säger » s very attentive to detail and made my stay very welcoming, this will be my preferred base when I’m working in the Cornwall area. 10/10 - This is a really friendly guest house with nicely decorated and spotlessly clean rooms. You get a lot more for your money than you would staying in one of the large budget hotel chains, a nice cooked breakfast and fast free internet being two worth mentioning. It's a good base if you want to see some of the sights of Cornwall with St Ives and St Michael's mount only being about 30 minutes away. I've stayed here previously and if I'm visiting Cornwall again would stay again.

  Really liked my sunny south facing bedroom with excellent en-suite bathroom. Exceptionally comfortable memory foam mattress (particularly important as I sometimes suffer with back pain). Really friendly, helpful landlady Rosemary who makes very tasty breakfasts and is full of local knowledge. Also Bruce who helped me sort out my best route to n... vad folk säger » ext destination. From this location you can walk to restaurants, the harbour, town centre and National Maritime Museum. Pendennis Castle is a 5 minute drive away. The breakfast, provided for an additional charge, was excellent.

  We stayed for a two nights, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff we very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and a good size, the same applies to the bathroom. the facilities were excellent and a very good beakfast that set us up for the day. The hotel is situated within a short walk to both the town centre and beaches..   We only stayed 1 night, We had a superior room and were very pleased as it was very clean and spacious. The separate spacious bathroom with a roll top bath and views down across the sea made this a very enjoyabale stay.   We were booked into this hotel and deeply appreciated the attitude and care taken by the management. We had asked for a non-smoking room and needed it due to allergies. A prior customer had smoked in our room. So the hotel contacted us to let us know what had happened. They then took the step of getting us into another hotel in town and got us an ... vad folk säger » upgrade. We were so impressed. You cannot beat this kind of integrity and care about the welfare of customers. The staff should get a gold star. - I found all the Staff at the Engleton Guest House most friendly and helpful. Rooms were kept clean and well equipped with tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast menu was sooo! Good I soon learnt however not to order the full English as I knew I couldnt eat it all. Definately worth another visit. (My dog agrees)
