Friendly, cheerful, helpful staff; tasty evening meal; quiet room, comfortable bed, good shower; lavish breakfast with splendidly strong coffee. A very enjoyable stay.
Staff were excellent. Menu was good and the food excellent. Will stay again if in the area.
Room was adequate for my needs. Tea and coffee making facilities included.
Nice welcome. They warned me that there might be noise one evening
because of a party. Enjoyed my stay. alla recensioner »
Cosy rooms, hotel with character, lovely restaurant, nice food and very friendly staff.
straightforward service, good breakfast.
great location, next to village.
good breakfast
quiet room.
Excellent food , and excellent bar staff that was unfortunately leaving ( bad on you for letting him go !! ) think the prices are a little steep as it is only a bed and breakfast ( with hotel status ).
Bar and restaurant were ok.
The breakfast was nice and the coffee freshly brewed - which woke us up nicely after a diabolical nights sleep.
We liked everything, but a selection of teas, including peppermint, in the bedroom would have added to our enjoyment.
Single room bathroom a little on the small side but will be improved
when the wash basin is replaced with a bit smaller one. Cruets not
always clean.
Didn't like the shower with the mold and sealer all coming out of the base . Plaster on wall coming out . Dust on curtains , and white marks on there purple bed linen .
Room was overpriced by about £15-20 for the size and whole accommodation area looked tired and a bit run down. The single I had was very small (bathroom really too small to be functional) don't know what the doubles are like.
Very small rooms, threadbare carpets, poor en suite facilities. To be honest it is a tired budget hotel which should be charging half the money for the rooms.
