The White Hart Hotel provides stylish bed and breakfast accommodation in the west Devon town of Okehampton. A 3-minute drive from Okehampton Train Station, there's a restaurant, bar and pizzeria on the premises.

Value for money. Large spacious comfortable ensuite room (bed very comfy had a good night sleep) over looking main road (no noise). Staff very attentive. B/fast - plentiful and variety for everyone. Beamed bar/restaurant very cosy with roaring fire. Book early for restaurant as quite busy but don't fret as there's a pizzaria and snack/supper lounge. If you like history there's plenty of photos and memorabilia displayed all around the hotel. Will definately visit again. alla recensioner »
Staff were brilliant. Helpful friendly, loaned us an umbrella, brought
drinks up to the lounge. Allowed us to use the lounge after check out.
Took care of our luggage until 1500 hrs Bathroom excellent and well
supplied with shower gel etc.
me and my wife had a one night stay and it was wonderful. very friendly excellent food and the room was really clean and well presented oh and the room was very big. ideal location just a two minute walk to the cinema and shops all around.
Lovely old - slightly frayed - feel of the ancient coaching in that it is.
Central position in Okehampton ideal for the festival I attended.

Room 11-Bedroom window very draughty and major noise from road below.
Shower temperature was difficult to control. Often either too hot or too cold.
Central heating switches off around 9.30 pm which means if you have a late night your room is cold to go to bed in.

shower mixer could have been better but works ok and wouldn't put me off booking again.
as I have a problem knee it was awkward not having a lift to room.
the only down side, was the road traffic throughout the night, I was unable to sleep, even though it is a very old coach house with single glazing, secondary glazing could be added in line with the character.

Mixer tap didn't work well when trying to take a shower.
Tired decor in bedrooms ,,,wallpaper hanging of ceiling shower not working ,,bed uncomfortable/springs..customer service poor..restaurant expensive..breakfast not included...definately wouldnt go back..
