  The nicest place we have stayed where dogs are truly welcome. Our stay was very relaxing and not over priced and your staff were chatty and very welcoming. We came on a very sunny weekend where we enjoyed drinks in the court yard in the afternoon which was very nicely kept. We even managed to sit out and have our breakfast and read the morning pap... vad folk säger » ers in the sun, very relaxing. As it happened there was no weddings on the weekend we stayed which probably made it a lot quieter than usual. I believ - This hotel never stops amazing me. I can not describe how brilliant the hotel is. We got married at the hotel a few years ago & returned to celebrate our anniversay. The hotel upgraded us to the honeymoon suite without us asking. They greeted us as we checked out and wished us "a happy anniversary" Its service that you rarely see anymore and just makes our memories go on & on. Thank you for treating us as 5* guests and making an amazing stay.

  The family room was an excellent size with a powerful shower and three full size beds. The staff were very friendly. It was in a lovely location a few miles from Oakham. We would definitely return. - Relaxed atmosphere and friendliness of staff, nice food, clean and comfortable bedroom, easy access to local main roads.

  The Whipper-In was a pleasant surprise. The room was incredibly cosy and beautifully decorated with names given not numbers.
