This guest house classes itself as superior, and it is exactly that, one of the best I have stayed in.Very well appointed rooms, if a little small, but the sea view from my room made up for that, magnificent views across the Dorset coastline.Run personnaly by the owner, who makes a big effort to make your stay a good one, giving local advice on the town.First Class Breakfast.
We had a very pleasant 4 night stay at the Westwood Guest House. The owner, Lavinia, was very welcoming and the overall quality of the accommodation was superb. Plenty of information about Lyme Regis was sent in advance which was a nice touch. Lovely choice of breakfast and the fridge in the room was very useful, including fresh milk on arrival. Lavinia is the kindest person you could ask for in a hotel owner. Nothing was to much trouble. The room was excellent. The info sent by Lavinia prior to our arrival was fantastic. you do not get this sort of thing very often.

Our room was beautifully decorated, with a modern bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was clean and fresh.

Room a little small, but really well appointed, this should not put anyone else off, the location of the property more than makes up for it.Would definitely stay there again if I visit the town.

The only slight disadvantage was the parking, we had a very small car so it didn't cause us any problems. But it's Lyme and everything is steep so I didn't expect anything else .
