  I asked them not to be on the first floor after reading the comments and they gave us a nice room on the upper floor. Receptionists are very kind. Nice bar just next door.   I was popping up to london for 2 days for college interviews, and after looking at the price of some hotels it seemed stupid paying near enough £200! I choose a room in a female only dorm,I'd never stayed in a group room before but it was fine, my expectations were majorly exceeded! I don't think ill ever b - The equipment is amazing (other than the very small kitchen), particularly the room (I was in a 4-bed) displayed a very high standard. The breakfast was decent (no fruit anymore though, as visitors had stated in previous reviews). Wifi at the ground floor and nice ares to sit, relax or even work. The location is certainly not central, but Oxford street is 20 mins away and the Jubilee Line will drop you off at St. Paul's or Buckingham Palace in not much more time.   I liked the staff there and the best was the man. He was service-minded and spoke with me much. He was very patient. I was happy about the location near to the river and the many bridges.   I liked the friendliness of the staff who did go that extra to help out. The bar food was reasonably priced for London and of good quality. The half price first drink was extremely welcomed after a long day. Free wifi good. Breakfast adequate. Lots of seating in the lounge area. Overall, as hostels go - fabulous experience. - staff very nice

  I stayed here for three weeks whilst in between flats and it was a god send! Some nights are under £10, and considering that includes breakfast it's indisputably great value. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and more than happy to help. The rooms are kept clean as well as the bathrooms on a daily basis. The lockers in the bedrooms also add a certa - Pleasant and easygoing staff, clean and comfortable rooms, bathrooms and showers. Good food available 24/7. Highly recommended.

  Great location- very close to Hammersmith tube and the Broadway Shopping Centre. Hostel is quite clean, 8-bed female dormitory room was a good choice for me.The price included breakfast-all fresh and tasty. Very good value for such a low price!   On check in, they mentioned the hostel was fully booked that night, so I was a bit nervous it would impact on comfort and sleep quality. Was happily proved wrong, yes, it was busy, but I didn't have to queue for toilets/showers at any time, and breakfast was fine, with plenty of free space at the tables. Loved the curtains - gave a great deal - I only stayed here for one night, but was really impressed by the value for money and what the lodge provided! I only paid 14 pounds to stay in a mixed 18 bed dorm, which I was very unfortunate in that there were not a lot of guests occupying the room and were all very quiet. The room was very large and the decor of the whole lodge was so cute! Very british and quaint. I was happy that the room provided a bed, a desk, and in the halls there was a kitchen with microwave, so it was possible to save money on a study trip to London.   We had a fantastic week in St. Cristopher Village. The hostel is in a very central position and it's very simple to move, furthermore the area is not completely dead at night, as it seems for the most of the City, and if your on holiday that matters. We found out that the hostel was surprisingly clean, even though it's completely administered by... vad folk säger » people with less than 30-35 years. We read about dirty everywhere, noise allnight long and rooms with not enough space to move, but we found none of - Helpful and friendly staff, clean room, very simple but good breakfast, great atmosphere. 15 minutes on foot from Big Ben, Tower Bridge and The Tower (however, we walk quite fast so it can take app. 20-25 min.). Underground station "London Bridge" 3 minutes from the hostel. Free internet access (well-working). £35 for one person for two nights in the last weekend of April in London is in my opinion really good price.
