On the night, as we arrived late we got a taxi (which the hotel sorted - I've just returned from a two night stay at Aloft London Excel where I had a great time. Although this hotel is not in the centre of London, the DLR line (a metro line on the surface) station Prince Regent has direct access to the hotel and the station of Tower Gateway, in the centre of London, is within a trip of 15 minutes.   Very convenient location for Canary Wharf and 02 arena. Walk from the hotel and catch the DLR to Canary Wharf from East India (few mins walk, literally - and not main roads to cross), or take a 2 minute walk across a set of Traffic Lights to Blackwall DLR. Both stations take you to Canary Wharf, but please not you have to get off at Popular to g... vad folk säger » o to Canary Wharf. And on depart to Canary Wharf to either of above, stop at Popular. Trains are so quick, less waiting and right until midnight. An - It is only 5 mins walk under a tunnel from Blackwall station, you can see hotel from DLR.   Everything about the hotel was brilliant. The rooms were up to date and comfortable (a lot better than the pictures portrays them) and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.   Very welcoming stay, breakfast was very nice and plentyful. Room was basic but clean, I would recommend this hotel as it is central to all the main attractions. Staff are very friendly and helpful. - Courteous helpful staff, very very clean, excellent food - a very well run medium priced hotel
