Friendly welcome and very comfortable, cosy room with reasonable rates. Rose & Crown was recommended to me by friends who have stayed previously. I hope to be able to stay here again the next time that I visit. Out of all the places I've stayed in when visiting Wales this was the best. The room we stayed in was large enough for the travel cot we had brought, with twin beds and a seating area. Decor was fresh and the room was clean and well laid out. Bathroom was large with a great shower. Breakfast was delicious with some of the best bacon I've ever tasted!.

Restaurant had a good choice of locally sourced food at reasonable prices. Overall very pleased. I booked three rooms for family and found the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. The breakfast was freshly cooked, and also excellent. I will definately visit again ! Thank you. the rooms were lovely and comfortable, modern and welcoming. The pub/Restaurant is extremely inviting, Food is delicious. Parking is an issue, with only a few parking spaces and very narrow roads in the surrounding areas to use as alternative parking. I had to leave ! Didn't want to, and would have liked to stay a few more nights. i ddn't stay longer. The only downside was the noise of slamming doors and music coming from the bar or a pub nearby. Can be a bit noisy at night in rooms from pub below. Car parking not always easy. Nothing to dislike!. The breakfast choice was a little limited althought the quality of what was served was good. Nothing. the shower in the bedroom, would have liked one that is adjustable to body size not directly overhead. The floors creak really bad and the walls seem paper thin as could hear other rooms creaky floors and extractor fans. only spending 1 night their. Hardly anything to report and become excited about. Nothing to dislike. Wished we could have stayed longer. Nothing. Evening meal 7/10 owing to: Food lacked taste which may be a cooking problem rather than sourced products. there was a flap tapping all night long from the extractor fan in the bathroom of room 8, it was during the night of the 26th when it was very windy so it may not happen every night but it did keep me awake most the night and the tv had no signal but this was put down to the weather too. The room I had was a little small but my travelling companion's roo wes much better. Nothing. Room had no working main lights including light over bathroom sink. Also sink tap had no handle on hot tap. No towel rail, only brackets. These were not pointed out on arrival. Duty staff did not inform us of any remedial action they took. Stay was too short. Nothing. No milk in room Food rather expensive. With it being a hot weekend in July, lots of noise from locals late at night in the pub both Friday and Saturday, struggled to sleep until they went home which was approx 1am. Car park was far too small, struggled to get a parking space in the evenings so were reluctant to go out in the evenings. Menu was good but not a great choice could have a better variarty . Car parking is limited. Got back at 11 30 although it shuts at that time barman was still there and people were drinking in the bar but we were refused a drink. small rooms. nothing. Nothing. Though the food was good the menu was a bit restricted for someone (like me) with a wheat intolerence.
