  We had a lovely room overlooking Big Ben and Parliament. The view was so wonderful, the nights were spectacular watching the boats and the river lights. The weather was warm and balmy and the walks along the river embankment were spectacular. The hotel is in a perfect location, the staff superb and the service top notch. It was well maintained and very clean.The beds were wonderfully comfortable with big feather pillows.The room had plenty of plugs,fluffy white towel dressing gowns,ironing board etc. everything we needed without having to ask. The full English breakfast was big enough to share between two. A lovely place to relax in great comfort.

  Everything! Everything was fabulous!! We were met from our taxi by the doorman who asked our surname, which he repeated into his lapel. We walked through the revolving doors and were met by a lovely lady who greeted us by name and showed us the hotel and finally to our room. We went down to the American Bar and had several glasses of wine. We had bookings for Afternoon - Smooth easy quick check in Junior suite, Art Deco Style Fabulous, bathroom huge, walk in shower with rain head huge, Free standing bath plenty of room for two. Afternoon Tea, delicious, was my bithday, they played happy birthday and bought a cake with candle, you can have as much as you want...service amazing. Dinner at Kaspers, very busy, Seated at a table with everyone coming back and forth on either side, not good, asked to be moved to the bar, done with no fuss, lovely dinner and wine. Used

  Friendly staff who went out of his way to place us together which resulted in an upgrade. Booked months ago & got really good deal. Parking car for us was worth paying extra for. - The location, the large room, comfortable beds, warmth, ease of walking to places of interest, lovely breakfast, friendly staff, great room service food. The room as well as the bathroom were good-sized and comfortably furnished. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of food and was not too expensive.   from the moment we checked in the reception and the service was excellent, although one of the rooms were not ready, we were welcomed and given coffee and stacks with compliments - we liked that the hotel was close to the tube station - made it very easy for traveling in and around london. also the spa was very relaxing

  The room was agreeably large and tastefully decorated with a modern bathroom. The few members of staff we dealt with were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a 25 minute walk from St Pancreas, and we avoided public transport entirely during our stay. - Lovely big comfortable bed, great location.

All the staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay at the Rubens again, our room was recently refurbished and was in excellent condition. The room service was impressive and the food the best I've ever tasted in a hotel.
