  I like the fact that check in was effortless, we had just had a long stressful journey and when we got to the hotel everything fell into place. The receptionist was welcoming and the room was excellent. We had asked if the hotel could do anything for my husband as it was his 40th Birthday....they very kindly put a couple of treats in the room for no charge.   Have used this hotel many times over the years as a stopover while attending local meetings. As always the room was very clean and well presented. The bed was huge. Check-in and out was very easy and the staff polite and business-like.   After having looked at more comments after booking the hotel, I have to say I was a little worried that we would be disappointed when we arrived. However this was not the case!! The room was beautiful with everything you could want - Nespresso machine, fresh milk and water in the fridge, lovely toiletries, large screen tv, comfortable bed with smooth, crisp sheets. We stayed here because we were going to Twickenham stadium for the rugby, but would have loved to stay longer. We walked to the stadium, but we are good walkers and you can get a taxi easily.   The staff was welcoming and very efficient. The room was very clean and well designed with all the conveniences you would expect in an upmarket city hotel. The bathroom was excellent with the best shower I had in Europe! I was there for one night only, for the convenience of being close to Heathrow. It was an excellent choice. I would definitely stay there again.
