  The staff was very helpful! The rooms were very tidy, clean and comfortable. The Staff was a great help when I asked them for help. They had the most wonderful breakfast! Mirella is the best host! - The welcome was warm, the room was clean and had all the attributes of a 4* hotel, plus some. A warm comfortable bed and the room was very quiet, I probably had the best sleep for weeks. The breakfast good as you get at any 4* hotel I have stayed in up and down the country.   This hotel has impressed me: 1st, the host (Marion) makes you feel at home and gives you useful instructions and tips. Then, the room was spacious, confortable and clean. Plenty of details (plug adapter, kettler & cookies, sewing kit, hair dryer, cottons, body cream, ipod player ...). Several options for breakfast in a lovely, cozy environment... vad folk säger » . Location is great, you can either walk or take a bus/taxi. Plenty of restaurants in the nearby area. I will definately come back. - When we arrived the introduction/explanation of services etc was good with clear, simple explanation of what to do and where things were. The 'owners' were very welcoming. Brown's was very clean; there was good provision of every day items, teas, coffees and toiletries. Breakfast was also good with a good range of items. No critique at all.

  This hotel is a real gem of a find..it is about a 10 minute walk or 3 minute cab ride from Princess Street. It is spotlessly clean and was so cozy that we din't want to leave. The staff are a credit to the hotel, nothing is too much trouble for them. I arrived 2 hours early and my room was ready and i was allowed to check in with any problems.... vad folk säger » Brekfast has plenty of variety and if you leave the beautiful dining room hungry, then you have only yourself to blame. I can't recommend this hote - The room was well sized, central location (behind Carlton Hill) and close to Princes Street and St James shopping centre. The quiet surroundings made for a very comfortable sleep and the bed was also very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly and always had a smile. Also from the living room area there was a nice little garden (although not sure if/how you could get to it)

  Heather was extremely nice and welcoming during our stay and we had a wonderful time at The Hedges. Breakfast is excellent and more than readies you for a full day of walking around the city. The rooms are very comfortable and well-decorated, and Heather has managed to retain the charm of the historic building while still making it warm and friend... vad folk säger » ly. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. - The owner, Heather - she is lovely, extremely helpful, makes you feel very comfortable, and genuinely cares for you. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room itself is very charming. The room was cosy, beautifully decorated, and charming. The shower was also excellent. Attention is paid to every detail, and I would definitely come back there!
