We arrived with our son who is wheelchair bound , and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. She even sent his breakfast up to him on a tray!!! FANTASTIC....The building couldnt have been more central!! All in all, a fantastic budget place to stay in Edinburgh. The owner should be very proud , they do a fantastic job, we loved our stay here.

Morag (the owner) was VERY nice and courteous. She greeted us warmly and seemed genuinely interested in what we were doing each day and how we were enjoying Scotland. Also, her breakfast was great and always waiting. Meats, cheeses, huge croissants, choice of cereals and juices.

I stayed for one night at the Edinburgh Townhouse, and the single room with ensuite was very comfortable. The Townhouse is about a 20 minute walk from Edinburgh, Waverley Rail Station, and situated on castle Street, just off Princes Street. I enjoyed a tasty, continental Breakfast in the morning.

It's a lovely place with amazingly friendly staff! For the price you pbly won't find a more original B&B. It is nicely situated, though closer to New Town so that you have to walk a bit to get to Old Town. The breakfast is nice if you take the cooked breakfast. We'll stay there again if we go back to Edinburgh.

We came with no greater expectations because of the cheap price, but we were pleasantly surpriced! Clean room and friendly staff. Feeling like I was living with a family! honestly I didn't expect the room is big enough for ten people to live in, since we only had three people. Marvellous! Perfect location, close to centre of town. Received a very warm welcome, lovely people running the bed and breakfast in a relaxed, efficient way, they couldn`t have been more helpful. St. Bernard's House is situated in a lovely part of Edinburgh, surrounded by beautiful Georgian architecture, with plenty of little shops, pubs & places to eat etc. round the corner. We were more than happy with our stay and the couple who run the guest house were friendly and very helpful. We hope to return at some point and discover more about the local area and Edinburgh itself.

Rob and Vicky made us feel welcome from the minute we made the booking, they were able to provide information that made our travel arrangements work better. It was no problem for them to allow us to arrive mid morning, Rod showed us a map of the city and was able to provide useful local knowledge throughout the whole of our stay. On our departure

Unlike the other guest houses I looked into, the room I booked was the
room I had. It was very roomy and comfortable. The staff was very
friendly and accommodating. I inquired via email about a room refrigerator-
even though Valentine's didn't have one, I was told when I
arrived that my suggestion was taken and some were ordered
(unfortunately the company couldn't deliver it for my visit). Also,
I got a 2 page email with tourist suggestions after asking for some
