  I liked the location .it was very close to the underground.5 minutes walking. and from the bus station, too. direct route with the underground to the centre, almost 15 minutes and with the bus 30 minutes. Next time I came to London, this hotel will be my first choice. I liked it very much because I paied the money when I arrived. After reading a lot of the negative reviews I was quite worried about visiting but for the price that I paid it was a good place to stop overnight and ideal for what we wanted.

  We stayed at the Gloucester Hotel for 4 days and booked one of the studios, which was on the other side of the street. The room and the bathroom were very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and polite (we had a problem with warm water at day one, as we told the staff about it, they fixed it in the next our).   The staff were very friendly & welcoming. It was extremely clean with clean towels every day & plenty of tea/coffee/milk provided. It proved to be a convenient position for gaining access to central London fairly quickly & I would definitely use this hotel again when visiting my daughter in Tower Hamlet. - Very nice and helpful staff ... vad folk säger » - clean and tidy - great location for buses and tubes - excellent continental breakfast - extremely quiet - good atmosphere - two very friendly pubs within 2 minutes - buses to the bustling Islington/Angel every five minutes.
