Our accommodation was actually a townhouse over 3 storeys just yards offthe royal mile. It was fantastic-clean and well equipped and would nothesitate to recommend it. The flat was provided with clean towels and hair dryers for each room. It even had sky tv. Walking distance to royal mile and the castle. The staff was very attentive and courteous. Lovely host who couldn't do enough for us. We stayed in the Oriental room and the decor and bed were fantastic. Booking was easy. This was followed by the landlord texting us and calling us with the c/in details. Arival and stay was hassle-free. Sav was very helpful and even supplied us with bread and cereal for breakfast. Though we only met on the last day of our stay - she ensured that she called every day and inquired into our stay and gave us hints on how to enjoy Edinburgh better.

Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room itself is very charming.
The room was cosy, beautifully decorated, and charming. The shower was also excellent. Attention is paid to every detail, and I would definitely come back there!

This hotel is a real gem of a find..it is about a 10 minute walk or 3 minute cab ride from Princess Street. It is spotlessly clean and was so cozy that we din't want to leave. The staff are a credit to the hotel, nothing is too much trouble for them. I arrived 2 hours early and my room was ready and i was allowed to check in with any problems.

Brekfast has plenty of variety and if you leave the beautiful dining room hungry, then you have only yourself to blame.
I can't recommend this hote -
The room was well sized, central location (behind Carlton Hill) and close to Princes Street and St James shopping centre. The quiet surroundings made for a very comfortable sleep and the bed was also very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly and always had a smile. Also from the living room area there was a nice little garden (although not sure if/how you could get to it)
