  We stayed at the hotel for my husband's 50th birthday. He is keen on trains so I requested, and got, a room overlooking the station. He was in his element. We arrived at 1pm and went in to drop our bags off but the staff were able to check us into our room which was a bonus. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Would definitely stay agai... vad folk säger » n. - The hotel itself is the star of the show...beautiful restoration.....it is like walking around a film set! Spa area is nice ...we swam early in the morning and had the pool to ourselves...but it IS small! Breakfast was included in our stay and it was fab! Great ambience and relaxing area to sit/eat...also lovely selection of food to choose from.

  Friendly and helpful staff. A hotel that makes every effort to make customer's stay a memorable one. Love this hotel and will definitely come back again and again. - Nice luxurious hotel the room is so nice specially the bed is so comfort. I strongly suggest this hotel.

  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries.   The whole package, location, staff, food was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. STK restaurant is fantastic with the best steak I have ever tasted. Lovely touches in the room with nightly bed turndown with choccies, mood lighting and a fully loaded minibar! The Radio Bar is a great sight with lovely staff and fab food again.   Everything! Everything was fabulous!! We were met from our taxi by the doorman who asked our surname, which he repeated into his lapel. We walked through the revolving doors and were met by a lovely lady who greeted us by name and showed us the hotel and finally to our room. We had bookings for Afternoon - Smooth easy quick check in Junior suite, Art Deco Style Fabulous, bathroom huge, walk in shower with rain head huge, Free standing bath plenty of room for two. Afternoon Tea, delicious, was my bithday, they played happy birthday and bought a cake with candle, you can have as much as you want...service amazing.   Perfect location for New Year, everything in walking distance, close to Trafalgar Square, easy access to Embankment for fireworks and New Year day parade passed front door...not to mention the hotel festivities, plenty going on in a stylish, refined way.
