  The staff were very welcoming helpful and friendly. A very homely place to stay. Breakfast was delicious. The bar is a bonus!! Would definately stay here again. - The golden sands is a great hotel very close to the main attractions. This is one of the best hotels my family have stayed in. Excellent value for money.

  Everything was absolutely perfect! We actually booked a small double room from Mon-Fri and when we arrived we found they had actually upgraded us to a bigger room with no extra charge! :) We were made to feel so welcome and Sally & Joanne were so friendly and hospitable! (Thanks for the tip with cooking the Sausages Sally, made me very popular! ;D) The room itself was absolutely stunning, we - Everything. The location was just off the sea front within easy reach of the attractions and tram stop. The en-suite (shower, no bath) was clean, tidy with tea/coffee, TV and comfortable bed. Hair dryer, bathrobes basic toiletries etc were all provided, Breakfast was at a sensible time, and excellent. Full English meant that - plus a Scottish touch of a little haggis if you wanted it! Bacon, egg, tomato, black pudding, sausage, haggis, large potato chips, and all the usual trimmings - all cook

  New 0wners were lovely, nothing was to much trouble. We arrived very early, so we were allowed to leave our luggage in lounge. That meant we could go out and start our short break right away.
