  The staff were extremely friendly,courteous and helpful from the minute we arrived to the minute we left,house keeping was faultless,the meals and restaurant/bar staff fantastic.The location was brilliant with superb views over the lake,even the weather was glorious!altogether an excellent experience. - Hotel offers everything it promises to!   The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. Very friendly staff that made us feel very welcome. Food in the restuarant was very nice, with a relaxed atmosphere. - I came to relax, and in our second choice room that was possible being able to see and hear the river, plus watch the wildlife

  We had a very warm at the hotel on arrival and throughout our stay. The food we had on our first evening there was absolutely gorgeous. Our room was also to a very high standard of comfort. - Comfortable clean accomadation.

  Very clean and comfortable. Lovely well cooked breakfast and flexible for our needs as veggies and one of us not wanting a cooked breakfast. FRESH FRUIT which is always lovely.   Very friendly welcome from the owner on arrival and throughout. Bedroom very comfortable, with hairdryer provided. Bathroom clean and toiletries provided. Excellent cooked breakfast. The owner was happy to "see us out" as the entrance to the property was on quite a bad bend in the road and visibility was not great. Would stay at Landing Cottag... vad folk säger » e again. - The host of the Guest House was extremely helpful and cheery, he offered to guide us out the car parking area on to the main road which is a blind spot. He also provided us with plates and cups when we decided to eat in the lounge - this was very kind. I found him to be very approachable and good natured which makes a major difference to your stay.

  Tina made myself and my fellow traveller (in a separate room) very welcome and we could have been staying with good, friendly relatives. She prepares a very sound, tasty custom-made breakfast at any of several times one can designate on the supplied slip each day. Tina and her husband were grand hosts and very helpful with tips for the area (inclu... vad folk säger » ding the very excellent Higginsons Cumberland sausage at Grange-over-Sands). We both came away very satisfied with our stay. - Property is quaint and in a delightful setting, breakfast was very good and tasty, loved the chickens and Drakeshead Labradors and there was lashing of hot water. Tina our host made us very welcome in every way, she couldn't do enough for us. Tina even offered to make a surprise birthday cake for my fiance and it was there in our room when we arrived. This was actually the second cake as the chickens had sneaked into her kitchen and ate the first one!!
